Happy Easter, I think? I say that because we had a turkey hen visit us on our property and I was thinking that our turkey visitor is kinda late for thanksgiving dinner...ha ha! Well, Easter is a lot different when my kids were little. This year I took my 9yr old Emma to a Easter egg hunt at Conner park, it was early about 9am. We got there and they were still hiding all the eggs. It was nice because it wasn't real crowded. It started and off they went in search of getting the most eggs. That image of my Emma running with excitement to get an egg will forever be engraved in my mind and heart. I  mean how can you ever forget these moments? Of course I took a photo! Well, everyone got a prize and Emma picked a little bright pink easter basket and she was beaming! She was running so fast she needed her asthma inhaler. Well, we went and celebrated and got a donut...more sugar of course!
I love Easter because of everything it means to me. I love the savior for all he did for all of us. Me and Emma attended a baptism for a sweet young woman who joined the church and the spirit was so strong. Well, we had our last Easter Egg hunt with all the kids at church and Emma had fun. The weather was so beautiful we didn't want to leave from being outside. I noticed a rash on emma's face and arms? Hmmm... I couldn't figure out what it was. On sunday morning we all went to church. Next Easter Miranda will be in college...sniff, sniff! As we sat there in sacrament Emma's face was flaming red and her arms were itching. She went up and sang with the primary(another moment I won't forget) her little face so red. Tammy came and checked her out and Dan gave her a priesthood blessing. I wasn't sure if she was having an allergic reaction. On monday the school nurse called me and said, I  needed to come get her her rash was getting bad. So, I took her it was Fifth disease...ugh! It really isn't anything bad just looks bad! I remember Miranda had it when she was little. I realized I didn't get any photos of my older two! :( Miranda had to work and we went to church and I forgot!
